Archive of old exams
These are the examinations that I gave in Fall 2008.

These are the examinations that I gave in Fall 2005.

These are the examinations that I gave in Fall 2003. These exams are based on an earlier edition of our textbook with a slightly different syllabus.

These are the examinations that I gave in Fall 2002. This course used the third rather than the fourth edition of the textbook. In Fall 2003, the department decided that Chapter Six should be included in Calculus One rather than in Calculus Two.

These are the examinations that I gave in Fall 2001. These exams are based upon a different textbook by different authors. You may find that these old exams are very misleading if you expect your exams to be very much like these.
Sample Gateway Exams
These are a few of the gateway exams that I prepared in Spring 2009. Your gateway exams this semester will be very similar to these in style and in content. All of these are in pdf format and have size approximately 41K.

These are copies of the twenty-five gateway exams that I prepared in Fall 2001. Your exams this semester will be different from these, but they will be similar in style. With the textbook change, your gateway exams will have LESS emphasis on antiderivatives. You should not expect questions like questions 9 and 10 on these exams. You should expect instead to answer questions where hyperbolic trigonometric functions and inverse hyperbolic trigonometric functions are used. All of these are in pdf format and have size approximately 41K.

Sample Gateway Exams from Other Professors
These are some examples of gateway exams for Calculus I that other instructors have prepared. These are NOT very current: these may have been prepared in a previous millennium.
