Questions

1. What shapes do you see in these images? What if you ignore the illusion of three-dimensionality?

2. How do the images change if you rotate them 90 degrees? 180 degrees? Reflect them through a vertical line? A horizontal line? A diagonal line? How might your answers change if the images were in black and white?

3. Look at the central shape in "Tlinko-F". Could you fit copies of this "tile" together to cover the plane without any gaps? What if you are allowed to use both this tile and its mirror image?
