User talk:Tamara
From Prep08Wiki
Hi Tami. Welcome to the workshop wiki, and thanks for starting your user page. I'm writing this on your User talk page, which you can see by clicking "my talk" in the links at the top of the wiki page. When someone writes to your talk page, you get an automatically generated email alert from the wiki server, so it's a convenient way to communicate with other participants in the workshop.
I've never been particularly happy with WebCT. The Wimba classroom is a bit over the top for a class that actually meets, but we've had good results with the wiki as a course tool. Anneke's taught a math and art course specifically for edu majors, as well. Bryan 19:57, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
Yes, before we adopted the Math and Escher course we had a course called "informal geometry" for primary ed majors. AT this point they all take the Math and Escher course instead. Barta 23:55, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

Good to meet you too, Tami! Have a great trip to Seattle and maybe I get to see you in person at some conference? I will be at the MAA Mathfest in August. :) User:Christine
