Hi Blake - are you a fellow brown dot? I thought I remembered your name and checked your vita...Tami

Hi Blake. Welcome to the workshop wiki, and thanks for starting your user page. I'm writing this on your User talk page, which you can see by clicking "my talk" in the links at the top of the wiki page. When someone writes to your talk page, you get an automatically generated email alert from the wiki server, so it's a convenient way to communicate with other participants in the workshop.

Mathematics of symmetry for non-science majors.. sounds not so far off from what we've been up to. What sort of class size/students did you have? How far did you take it? Since it's only about five weeks of our Escher course, we never really get into the group theory. I know George Balaoglu does a whole semester on it and has some nice online materials we'll point out later. Bryan 20:03, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

Hi Blake. I remember you from Project NExT :) I have only taught a bit of group theory once in our course. I'm pretty sure our colleague Steve Harris has taught it as well. I'm thinking of including it again next Fall. escherwiki:Isometry Groups Barta 23:52, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
