Hi, I'm Tami Worner and I am at Wayne State College in Wayne, NE. I am taking this course for many reasons. First, I'm trying to find a way to communicate with my students that have very busy lives (elementary education majors) in a way they find appealing and safe. We use WebCT, but it is a little too much for them to digest, so I thought I would check out this idea. Second, geometry and visualization have always been my weak areas, so I thought this class would do me some good. Third, I teach an honors general education math course and am looking for some 'geometry gems' to talk with them about. Fourth, my dean told me I could have some extra money to do something for myself because of a project I did for him. Those opportunities are few and far between, so I took advantage of it!
