Hi, my name is Blake Mellor. I am an associate professor at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. My research is in low-dimensional topology, specifically knot theory and the topology of spatially-embedded graphs.

I've twice taught a course on the "Mathematics of Symmetry" for non-science majors, with mixed success. I'm hoping this workshop will help me to revise and improve the course.
