Andre 02:29, 11 June 2008 (UTC) Hi! I'm Andre Castagna. I have just starting teaching high school this year, and will be teaching geometry next year for the first time. Before teaching I worked in engineering for 11 years, specializing in materials and energy transport for nuclear systems.

I didn't get to use much more than basic geometry in my former career, so I am going to be learning a lot of geometry this summer. I hope to learn about applications and learning tools that might motivate some extremely unmotivated high school students.

I have a PhD in Aeronautical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic.
