One of the architecturally and geometrically interesting structures in Albany is The Egg. It is a performing arts center located in the downtown Albany. It makes a for a great skyline view as you approach Albany from the east across the Hudson River. It's also a great place to see a concert or play.

The state education building in Albany is famous for its array of columns, and these photos shows some neat perspective, and the ornate details of the columns.

The state capitol building is one of our most impressive buildings. One of the central staircases is known as the million dollar staircase.

Finally, to honor its Dutch heritage, Albany holds a Tulip Festival every mothers day weekend.
