Math Dept: I think the proper response is one that I tell students in class. Until you understand what the change means, it propbably does not do anything on the functions you are working with.

Math Dept: This demonstrates a point in worksheet design. It is often worthwhile to retype enough stuff to have it all show up together. The extra typing is worthwhile in the time saved in frustration.
