Exploring Linear Algebra Using Maple
A PREP Workshop
Workshop Program
When the workshop is in session, click
on the links on this page to download
workshop materials.
Lead-in Activities
Download and work through the brief introductory Maple tutorial Just Enough Maple for Linear Algebra
(right click or control-click (PC) or option-click (Mac) to force the file
to download - if it opens in a browser window all you will see is a string
of meaningless characters);
the tutorial is also available as a pdf file so that users can see what
the tutorial should look like even if Maple is not available yet.
On-line connectivity tests with each participant site
were conducted in consultation with each participant the afternoons of the week
June 20-24.
On-line Program (June 27 - July 1, 2005)
The on-line portion runs for two one and a half hour time blocks,
10:00 am - 11:30 am and 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm Central Daylight Time, each day.
Participants are expected to spend time on workshop activities between
the on-line sessions.
